Global manufacturing is a good venture in any business operations. It is not easy to manage intellectual property while complying with local employment practices and regulations. In this respect, therefore, it would be advisable to incorporate the right on-the-ground management techniques. Through this, it would be advisable to consider the correct legal entity since most of these are usually very complicated and time-consuming processes. It would also be beneficial to the company to consider the different cultural and environmental conditions that could frustrate global manufacturing of the Easy Chairs in other parts of the world. Among the things to consider is the adoption of technology to ease the work. The fear of less common goods in some parts of the world than those produced in the US should not be a factor to consider. On the contrary, they should first study what each region requires since it could be possible different countries would prefer other designs and preferences (Week 1 Reading 2021). With this in mind, it would be easier to narrow down what each part of the world needs depending on the cost of production, labor availability, and government policies.
