Hands-on methods: This type of training involves on-the-job training, self-directed learning, apprenticeships, and simulation (Cascio & Aguinis, 2019). On-the-job training involves trainees learning the workplace culture and observing how their peers are executing their duties. This criterion can be done through onboarding and job rotation.
