Over the next few months, we will all be helping each other to learn all about how to recognize, assess, and resolve a variety of conflict situations. In your initial discussion post, please include information about your JWU program of study, as well as any other information you wish to share (e.g., home life, work life, pets, hobbies, aspirations, etc.). Minimum word count for this post is 100 words. All paragraphs should be at least three substantive sentences. All of these post elements are gradable items. This discussion should be submitted no later than Thursday night to avoid late deductions. Response Posts: Welcome at least one classmate to the class with a personalized message based on their posted bio. The Nature of Conflict Discussion Post 2 Main Post What are two needs that can motivate an approach to conflict resolution? Next, reflect on your own needs-fulfillment behaviors related to a prior conflict situation. Instructions: Use Chapter 1, pages 18 to 28, of the textbook as your source. First, describe two needs that people might seek to address that can motivate their approach to conflict. Next, explore a recent conflict that you experienced and how you handled that conflict to fulfill a certain need as described in the readings. Use of the supplied headings, found below, is required. Minimum word count for this post is 200 words. All paragraphs should be at least three substantive sentences. All of these post elements are gradable items. This discussion should be submitted no later than Thursday night to avoid late deductions. Response Posts Respond to at least two classmate’s post by Sunday night. Your post should directly address the content of the classmate’s post with the intention of adding additional insights or knowledge. Minimum word count for the response post is 100 words.
