PUB 415 ONE HEALTH CASE STUDY Parallels Between COVID-19 and the Spanish flu Comparisons and Considerations Assignment Guidelines Assignment Description: The case study assignment is intended to challenge students to consider the social, political, environmental, and physical factors that facilitate the spread of disease. The assignment requires students to use One Health One Medicine concepts to assess, compare, and contrast the Spanish Flu and COVID-19 pandemics. The assignment consists of 5 open-ended response questions. Each question has been assigned a specific point value. Assignments will be graded based on critical thinking and reflection, accuracy, appropriate use of peer-reviewed literature and resources, as well as adherence to formatting and word count. Instructions: The case study will require students to provide an overview and brief history of two separate pandemics.
