Introduction
Within the framework of a democratic society, the media play an important part. It is the responsibility of this organization to provide information, generate public dialogue, and hold those in power accountable (Turner, 2018). The role of the media in a democratic society as a watchdog, ensuring that the public is informed about the actions of those in power as well as keeping the government under check, is critical to the operation of a democratic society. In this essay, I will argue that although the media is very important to the promotion of democracy, it is not without flaws, and there is opportunity for advancement in this area.
The media is critical in fostering democracy since it is responsible for keeping people informed concerning political events, including their choices. This knowledge is critical because it enables voters to make educated choices about who to vote
