Goal 1. Reduce Juvenile Delinquency a.) Reduce Crime Rates – The high crime rate among youth requires a multi-pronged approach. The Wrap-Around Community Center at large is intended to circumvent the limited choices and bad circumstances that can lead to choices that contribute to the alarming rates. Citrus Bend is currently above the state and national average, so the desired outcome from the resources and activities of the community center is to reduce the rate to at or below average. This will come via youth engagement in productive and physical activities and support from the offices and programs involved, as well as community development.
